We are pleased to announce that the new DangoPlayer version, 6.0usagi has been finally released, with many changes included

The DangoPlayer APK Archive is now open

We are pleased to announce that the DangoPlayer APK archive is now open, where users will be able to download older versions of DangoPlayer, both the modern DangoPlayer app (formerly known as DangoPlayer Uni), as well as the obsolete DangoPlayer and DangoPlayer TV apps (formerly known as VideoTime and TubiLeap)

Removal of the migration code that allowed migration from the obsolete DangoPlayer (formerly VideoTime and TubiLeap) to modern DangoPlayer (formerly DangoPlayer Uni)

We are announcing that we decided to remove the code that allowed migration of IPTV Lists from the obsolete DangoPlayer app (formerly known as VideoTime and TubiLeap) on Android and the obsolete DangoPlayer TV app on Android TV and Google TV to the modern DangoPlayer app (formerly known as DangoPlayer Uni), this is doing as a part of a strategy to remove unused and obsolete code to modernize the app

DangoPlayer reveals new branding

After a long time, we want to announce that DangoPlayer’s branding will be completely renewed.

To start with, the new colors that will accompany the new DangoPlayer branding are Pink, Mint Green, Yellow and Purple, In addition, the visibility of the word DangoPlayer in Japanese (だんごプレイヤー) in the logo has been improved.

This branding change will now be reflected on this website, as well as on the DangoPlayer GitHub repository, and will soon be reflected in the DangoPlayer application for Android, Android TV and Google TV in the next version (6.0usagi), which is in development
