DangoPlayer 26.6.0 "Elio" Servicing Release 6 has been released

We are pleased to announce that DangoPlayer 26.6.0 “Elio” Servicing Release 6 has been released, and it’s now available to download either from Google Play Store or from APK

More Material 3 Expressive in the UI

One of the main changes of this new version of DangoPlayer, is that the UI now reflects more the Google’s new design language, Material 3 Expressive

To see the difference, here are the comparison on how the app looked before, and how looks now:

You noticed some difference? probably not, but there’s one difference, the iconography, which changed from the original Material Design style to the newer Material 3 Expressive style

New branding identity

Also, another notable change is the branding identity, which changed to the original DangoPlayer Uni color scheme from 2023, using the gradient scheme from 2024, here is a comparison between the previous branding identity (top), the 2024 branding identity (middle) and the new branding identity (bottom):

Also, if you have DangoPlayer 26.5.1 “Elio” Servicing Release 5, Rev. 1 or 26.5.2 “Elio” Servicing Release 5, Rev. 2, please update immediately, because both versions 26.5.1 “Elio” Servicing Release 5, Rev. 1 and 26.5.2 “Elio” Servicing Release 5, Rev. 2 had a bug that crashes the app when adding a IPTV list to Live Channels/Mochi Live TV integration (see issue), so if you have one of the versions affected by that bug, please update immediately
